The Motueka Aero Club was established in 1934.
We are situated in the sunny Nelson-Tasman Region, the ideal place for flight training and recreational flying in New Zealand
Our Aerodrome
The Motueka Aerodrome is located centrally within New Zealand, with both the North and South Islands both easily reachable.
We are on the edge of two stunning national parks. With both the beatiful coastlines of the Abel Tasman National Park, and incredible mountians of the Kahurangi National Park a short flight away.
The airfield is busy with Skydive Abel Tasman and Nelson Aviation College operating most days.
The Hangar Round Cafe is right next door where you can enjoy a coffee and light meal while watching aircraft take off and land and the skydivers doing their thrilling descents.
